Once I Called You Brother by TenorSaxLolita Once I Called You Brother by TenorSaxLolita
Once I called you brother
Once I thought the chance to make you laugh
Was all I ever wanted
And even now, I wish that God had chose another
Serving as your foe on his behalf
Is the last thing that I wanted
...
You who I called brother
How could you have come to hate me so?
Is this what you wanted?
Then let my heart be hardened,
And never mind how high the cost may grow!

Skyfire is too often overlooked. He is the only one to (canonly) have been in both factions, not counting double agents. And his tragic friendship with Starscream just fascinates me to no end. It's sad that neither got the happy ending they deserved.

However you see these two, as friends, or brother-figures, or lovers, or a teacher and student, you must agree their story was tragic. And even more so since it never got the proper attention. It could have made for some great episodes.

Starscream and Skyfire (c) HasTak
Lyrics (c) Stephen Schwartz, Hans Zimmer, and whoever else wrote for "Prince of Egypt". (Another tragic story. Everytime I watch it I feel so sad for Rameses.)
Okay. I swear I'll start working on my requests this weekend.

Wow... beyond cool. And Prince of Egypt rocks, by the way. They can make some really cool bible movies when they want to.

Aw, thanks. I like the concept better than the actual execution, but overall I'm pleased.
And. I. LOVE. "Prince of Egypt"!
I'm not even really THAT religious, but, oh, it's such a great movie!

And the music was awesome, too. Hans Zimmer writes some of the best, like in Spirit.

I haven't seen Spirit, but I do like his other works very much. Especially Lion King and Road to El Dorado (with Elton John as well...) and The Dark Knight.

I didn't know he did Lion King! That's my absolute favorite Disney movie of all time!

Yes, the music for both TLK and Road to El Dorado was done by the team of Hans Zimmer, Tim Rice, and Elton John. Thus why both movies have such amazing tunes! *is a total music nerd*

The art is great :salute:; the premise is sad :sniff:.

For great non-sticky? fiction involving these two and the bond therein, have you looked at Redemption over on FF.net?

Also try My Madness, My Saving Sanity for a bit of interaction near the last chapters. I'm sure there are more but my brain has gone caput. :faint:

Aw, thank you. Yes, their story is tragic, but at least it makes for good story. Or it would if they had done anything with it.

Yay! Fic recs! I will be sure to check them out as soon as I am home. So far the only fics I find of them are fluff or smut or extreme emo rant.
